Dinner and overnight in hotel (Accommodations will be at either a 4-star or 5-star hotel according to the cruise you choose).

This morning, we’ll visit the mysterious Beng Mealea temple, whose ruins were once utterly consumed by jungle. The temple was built in the 12th century and used the same floor plan as Angkor Wat. We’ll have lunch in the city. We’ll visit the Senteurs d'Angkor, a local business with a diverse collection of silk and carvings, as well as a superb range of traditional beauty products and spices, all made locally. We’ll also visit a silk farm to learn about the complex process of creating the luxurious fabric. We’ll end the day with Phare, the Cambodian circus, and spend the night at the hotel.

We’ll also visit the Cambodian Landmine Museum, run by Aki Ra, a former conscripted child soldier who has devoted his life to removing landmines. We’ll have lunch in the city before visiting the Angkor National Museum, dedicated to providing information and education about art and culture of Khmer civilization. Enjoy some free time before returning to the ship. Tonight, we will celebrate Christmas with a gala dinner. We’ll spend the night at the hotel.

RV Indochine II - Design and Interior

Have a memorable Mekong river cruise trip aboard a ship combining charm and colonial-style comfort. The RV Indochine II's design is inspired by the style of the rich commercial fleets that cruise on the Mekong, which fits right in with the rest of the CroisiEurope fleet. The ship is a wide, low vessel that sports prominent sheers on the outside decks covered in exotic Vietnamese wood and encircled with gangways. The interior of the ship is a fusion between the French Colonial era with more contemporary trends, creating an original design called “neo-colonial.”

In addition, the RV Indochine II is equipped with state-of-the-art climate control, ventilation, and water treatment technology that ensures minimal disruption to the Mekong’s environment.

With obvious French influence and flair, each of its 31 cabins is spacious and comfortable, with ample of storage space and amenities required for a convenient on board experience. An outside bar and lounge alongside a swimming pool is located on the sun deck, and massage services are available.
